- ABC’s four quadrant laugher Modern Family (9pm EST): Hayley (Sarah Hyland) has too much fun at college and runs afoul the cops
- ABC’s soapy muscian drama Nashville (10pm EST): Juliette (Hayden Panattiere) gets smacked by her mama
- FX’s everything-but-the-kitchen-sink scare fest, American Horror Story: Asylum (10pm EST): German actress Franka Potente (of Run Lola Run) joins the cast as Kassie in the first two-parter of the second season
