Everyone is reeling from the untimely death of resident cutie Kyle (Andy Mientus). And when I say everyone, I mean everyone, including me. As one of the only characters that I actually cared for this season, it was a bitter pill to swallow after last week’s final scene. At least they honored him with a Kyle-centric episode. Let’s review.

Another week, another ho hum episode of Smash. While season two has been much more enjoyable then season one, there are still moments and plot points that make me shake my head. At least in this episode we get another killer song from Hit List to add to our playlists.

What a difference a week makes. After a solid start to the second season, Smash returns to some of the problems that plagued its first season including a nod to one of TVs most hated characters…like ever. On the bright side J-Hud closes the episode with one of the best songs from the series and of course, she kills it. Did I mention Sheryl Lee Ralph (the original Deena Jones!) shows up as Veronica’s mother? Let’s bitch.
