As each season of Justified draws to a close, you can always expect a rash of episodes that are highly entertaining, full of twists, shoot-outs, etc. and ‘Coalition’ is one for the books as all of our players leap into action to find Mag Bennett’s missing $3.2 million.

After last week’s madness, it was inevitable that this week’s Justified would be slightly less meaty. To a certain extent we’re back to setting up the pieces as our characters carve out new alliances and deliver on the episode’s title as ‘Loose Ends’ are disposed of.

After last week’s Dewey Crowe-centric episode, Justified loses a little bit of focus this week. As we head into the second half of the season, it’s clear that the players are beginning to take their places on the battlefield. On the plus side, Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson) confirms that he’s leaving the sidelines, which means that Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and Quarles (Neal McDonough) had better watch their backs!

I spent the majority of the day looking forward to a new episode of Justified tonight, and then as I sat down to watch, I realized that I’d forgotten Carla freaking Gugino was guest starring. Guess who’s night just got significantly better? All of us!
