Sooo…can we talk about what we learned tonight? Because I feel like I’ve been writing these recaps in a vacuum and I absolutely need to hear what people think about ‘Guy Walks Into A Bar’ and what we now know about Quarles.

After last week’s madness, it was inevitable that this week’s Justified would be slightly less meaty. To a certain extent we’re back to setting up the pieces as our characters carve out new alliances and deliver on the episode’s title as ‘Loose Ends’ are disposed of.

Way to make me eat my words, there, Justified. Just a few days after complaining about a slightly listless episode in which the focus appeared to be entirely on setting up action, things exploded (in some cases literally) in ‘Watching The Detectives.’

After last week’s Dewey Crowe-centric episode, Justified loses a little bit of focus this week. As we head into the second half of the season, it’s clear that the players are beginning to take their places on the battlefield. On the plus side, Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson) confirms that he’s leaving the sidelines, which means that Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and Quarles (Neal McDonough) had better watch their backs!

Justified goes Crank as we follow Dewey Crowe (Damon Herriman) while he goes on a crime spree to collect $20 grand in four hours before nasty nurse Lance (Clayne Crawford) sells his kidneys to a Chicago businessman. Umm…okay
