When Friday Night Lights ended (and broke my heart), like many others, I vowed that I would follow Connie Britton anywhere. Fortunately for me, she has landed on a show that features one of my favourite things: country music. For this, I will be a dedicated fan and loyal watcher. But as I watched tonight’s premiere, I was also pleasantly surprised by all the familiar faces I saw.

Earlier this week Revolution got a full season pick-up from NBC (the first drama of the 2012 television season), which means we’ve got a minimum of eighteen more hours to unravel the mysteries of the blackout. Either that or we’re simply going to watch Danny (Graham Rogers) escape and get captured eighteen more times.

Revenge‘s second season continues as the plots that began in the season finale and last week’s premiere begin to unfold. It’s a bit of a slow burn as the show struggles to find its narrative anchor, but there’s enough here to merit giving the show a few more episodes to discover what S2 is all about.
