Another week of dual lives is upon us as Michael (Jason Isaacs) tries to understand his emotionally distant son, who has begun acting out…though if you’ve watched these in order, it’s not for the reasons that you expect.

Double the 30 Rock, double the business cases and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles references! While neither of the nights two episodes were groundbreaking or side-splittingly hysterical, they were, for the most part, consistent character-wise and joke-wise. And really, that’s all I need from this show.

Alright, so I know that I haven’t always been the biggest supporter of The Secret Circle in recent weeks (see my rant-filled post a few weeks back), but I have to say that there is a lot in ‘Curse’ that works for me. Not only did the show remember that it has a history, but it did something I didn’t think was possible: it surprised me.
